Day 5 Nacimiento - Abla Tuesday, 30/04/2019 15,5 kms 250 m height difference = + 2.5 kms effort = 18 kms 5 hours 45 min of which 3 pauses, 15, 15 and 30 min. Off at 7.45 am after breakfast in our bar. Another beautifully cool and sunny morning. A long time on the road past an abandoned village on a hillside and ruins of farmhouses along the road. And again we arrive in the dry river bed - less easy to walk than the previous stretches. The camino leaves the river bed to take us into the village Doña Maria where we find a bar which gives me a welcome rest. The owner of the bar serves our drinks with a “bitteschön” and we discover that he was born in Essen, Germany, came to Spain when he was 9 years old, went back to Germany to work for 8 years, and is settled for good now in Spain... Back to the river bed which becomes more difficult to walk, more pebbly, and almost imperceptibly uphill, but the strain is there, for me anyway - 250 m up over the 15 kms we w
